Get involved as a volunteer - Milton Keynes City Football Club NEEDS YOU!
Milton Keynes City Football Club exists to promote football for
all Players, whatever their age, whatever standard, boys and girls.
You don't even have to play the game! Mums, Dads, Grandparents,
partners are very welcome as supporters and have a valuable role
to play in making the Club a success. Many of our volunteers get
a great deal of satisfaction in helping their Club. As our club
expands, so does the need for volunteers.
Willing helpers are never turned away!
The Club is run entirely by its members on a voluntary basis and
we are always looking for more people to help. Even if you can
only give one hour a week we'll make good use of your time and
your skills.
Many hands make light work
We realise just how precious time can be and we won't pressure
you into taking on more than you can manage.
These are just a few of the jobs that members can do:
- Help set up and take down goals
- Help with the kit
- Producing and distributing letters and handouts
- Contributing to the web site
- Coaching, or helping coaches at training sessions
- First Aiders
- Helping to organise social events
- Team Managers / Coaches
- Referees
Helping out is a great way to get to know people and to contribute
to the Club's development and you don't necessarily need to know
anything about football! So...don't sit in the car whilst your
child is enjoying the football, come and get involved, there's
plenty to do! There's more than one way to support your footballer!
How to get involved:
Contact either your Team Manager / Coach or contact the Club Secretary
Phil Atkins on 01908 504401 who will be pleased to tell you more
about our Club.
Keep an eye on the web site; you'll see notices for all types
of training and voluntary jobs that need filling and appeals for
help for one off social and Club events.
Fill out the on - line contact form on this site, and we'll get
in touch with you.
We're waiting to hear from you!
Get involved... you'll gain more than you give!
